Usain Bolt Golden Again with Unique Nissan GT-R

• Nissan gives an exclusive gold-painted GT-R to the “world's fastest man," Usain Bolt
• Presentation ceremony held in Bolt's home country of Jamaica

JAMAICA (May 6, 2013) – Nissan has delivered a special GT-R, bathed in exclusive gold paint, to
Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt in appreciation for his contributions as a Nissan brand
ambassador for GT-R. Bolt, known as “the world's fastest man," has been promoting the
company's brand awareness in association with the Nissan Global Brand Campaign, which kicked
off in April 2012 and has been running in markets around the world ever since.

It was love at first sight for Bolt, already a GT-R owner, when the one-of-a-kind “Bolt Gold" GT-R was unveiled as the top prize in an online global charity auction held in late 2012. The proceeds of the auction went to the Usain Bolt Foundation.

The special Gold GT-R that Nissan presented to Bolt is based on the 2014 model year Nissan GT-R.
It has been customized to suit Bolt's driving style, based on the data Nissan engineers recorded
during his test drive of the GT-R line-up when he visited the company headquarters in October
2012.

The uniquely gold-painted Nissan GT-R features a flamboyant white interior, BOSE® audio system
and 10-spoke RAYS® aluminum-alloy forged wheels. These specially fitted, hyper-titanium colorcoated
wheels add extra flair to an already bold exterior that is highlighted by an exclusive “Spec
Bolt" emblem. The visual specs of the car, including exterior color, interior color and wheels, were
selected by Bolt himself.

The handover event took place on May 5, 2013, at Bolt's home training facility in Jamaica that
overlooks the mountains of his home country. Jose Román, vice president of Nissan Latin America
and the Caribbean, who attended on behalf of Nissan, handed over the keys to the Gold GT-R to
Bolt. Bolt then become the owner of one of only two Gold GT-Rs in existence, the other belonging
to the charity auction winner who will take delivery of his special car before the summer of 2013.

NISSAN DEBUTS 2014 PATHFINDER HYBRID, NV200 MOBILITY TAXI AT NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW

• 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid set for late summer, offers 26 mpg fuel
economy (estimated combined city/highway), 526-mile driving range
• Wheelchair accessible “Mobility Taxi” added to Nissan NV200 “Taxi of
Tomorrow” program
• Custom Nissan NV200 “Gibson Repair & Restoration Van” also on display

NEW YORK CITY (March 27, 2013) – After nearly doubling sales of Pathfinder
since the October 2012 introduction of an all-new fourth-generation design, Nissan’s
iconic SUV took another major step forward today with the world debut of the 2014
Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid at a press conference at the New York International Auto
Show.

The Pathfinder Hybrid, the first of several upcoming Nissan hybrid models, is
scheduled to go on sale at Nissan dealers in the United States in late summer.
Featuring a supercharged 2.5-liter gasoline engine, 15 kW electric motor and
advanced Nissan Intelligent Dual Clutch hybrid control system, it will be priced at
around $3,000 USD above the standard 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine-powered
Pathfinder models.

Also making its New York debut today was the wheelchair accessible version of the
Nissan NV200 Taxi, which will become available as part of Nissan’s NV200 “Taxi of
Tomorrow” program that rolls out this coming fall. Converted by Indiana-based
BraunAbility, the NV200 Mobility Taxi features a rear ramp and an industry-first
integrated restraint system that provides safe and quick securing of wheelchairs. The
rear ramp access eliminates the need for wheelchair users to cross traffic to enter or
exit – an important feature for New York City’s network of one-way streets. The
Nissan Mobility Taxi looks and functions like a standard NV200 Taxi until the mobility
function is needed.

Said Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Executive Vice President Andy Palmer: “Our mindset at
Nissan is to lead the way with innovative solutions to the challenges of modern,
sustainable mobility with the goal of reaching 100 percent zero emissions, like the
LEAF. That means creating cleaner, more fuel-efficient vehicles like the Pathfinder
Hybrid that serve people on the move, and vehicles like the NV200 Mobility Taxi that
offer expanded functionality while keeping a small environmental footprint.”

Both vehicles will be on display throughout the New York International Auto Show’s
consumer days – March 29th through April 7th – at Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan.
Palmer also announced that the next generation Nissan Murano, scheduled for the
2015 model year, will be based on the recently introduced Resonance Concept and
will include a gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain.

Among the other Nissan vehicles featured at the show is the Nissan NV200 “Gibson
Repair & Restoration Van,” a custom designed mobile version of the fabled Gibson
Guitars’ Repair & Restoration shop in Nashville, Tenn.
