Is this our first look at the LS7 powered Camaro test prototype?! [Full Photos Inside]
In case you missed it, the 2014 Camaro was recently discovered with an LS7 engine option.
This is the first Camaro prototype that we have seen GM testing in a long time (since the ZL1). And although the visuals are not very telling (save for the quad exhausts), that GM is even performance testing a prototype may be a sign that we may be seeing a new Camaro model with a new powertrain soon. Furthermore, the car was said to sound like a V8, ruling out the possibility of some V6 based model.

The grille that the prototype wears is the same as those used on old Camaro prototypes, so don’t expect that this is necessarily a sign of a new grille design or facelift.
FYI, the 7.0-liter LS7 V8 motor is currently used in the Corvette Z06 (505hp @ 6300rpm / 470 lb-ft @ 4800rpm).
