We’re never happy to report an automotive related death, especially one involving a rare classic car . Well, not exactly classic, but definitely rare, because it’s a Ford GT40 replica that crashed on a country road in southern Germany, while heading to the ADAC Bavaria Historic (vintage car event).
Apparently, conditions were wet and after a sharp bend, the 49 year-old driver lost control and planted the car into the base of a tree – the 43 year-old passenger died in the impact, but the driver survived, albeit with serious injuries.
